Akshay Kumar talks about failing 7th grade and stealing watches, but won’t take wife Twinkle Khanna’s: ‘She’ll take my life’
Actor Akshay Kumar accepted he has a knack of stealing watches and rings from people without them being none the wiser.

Actor Akshay Kumar will be sitting on the edge of his seat for many upcoming days as his new film Jolly LLB 3 starts its theatrical run this week. However, Akshay, who is playing a lawyer in the film, recently entered a different courtroom as a witness. The actor appeared in the latest episode of Aap Ki Adalat and talked about his childhood, career, and weird idiosyncrasies that he carries with himself on every set.
The actor was welcomed to the set of the show with loud applause and cheers from the audience. He talked about how he wasn’t the best student growing up and said, “When I failed the 7th grade, people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I told them straight up that I want to be an actor.” When asked about his habit of stealing people’s watches on sets and whether he ever tried it on his own wife, Akshay replied, “There is a certain nerve that needs to be pressed, and when I do that, I can take anyone’s watch without them knowing. I never tried it on her (Twinkle Khanna; his wife) because if I take her watch, she’ll take my life.”
The actor is making the rounds of talk shows around the town and even went on Kapil Sharma’s show. The episode was specifically dedicated to the stuntmen of the industry, and Akshay joshed around with Navjot Singh Sidhu and host Kapil. When the latter accused Akshay of showing up late for the shoot, he said, “Paise nahi diye naa (Because you didn’t pay me).” Akshay continued making fun of Kapil and brought up his dancing in the film Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon and said, “Remember the song he did in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon? Why was it in a graveyard? Because his dancing is completely dead.”
Akshay’s film Jolly LLB 3 has started its run in the theatres, and just like the previous two instalments, the film has been directed by Subhash Kapoor. It also features Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla, Gajraj Rao, and Seema Biswas.
