The Teach For India has released the application for their 2025 fellowship and the last date to register is September 15. Interested applicants, must visit the official website to fill in the application form at – teachforindia.org. The Teach for India fellowship will be a paid one and is for duration of two years. Once selected, the fellow will have the opportunity to be placed as a full-time teacher in any English medium government or even private school. After selection, candidates will be trained in residential institutions to learn the skills and mindsets to be teachers equipped to teach in an innovative, reimagined way. In 2024, around 640 fellows were enrolled and provided with the skills of leadership, problem-solving, and facing real-life challenges, ultimately contributing to their overall professional growth and chance to be changemakers in the education sector and part of the education equality movement. Fellowship eligibility – Candidates must have completed their graduation before June or July 2025. – Aspiring applicant should either be a citizen of India or an Oversee citizen of India (OCI). – First time applying for Fellowship cohort since July 2024 Selection procedure Stage 1 – The candidates will be short-listed on the basis of information they have provided in their application form (Even an English Assessment evaluates the candidate's proficiency in the language as part of the online application). Stage 2 – Short-listed aspirants will engage in phone interviews for an expected duration of 30 minutes. Stage 3 – The applicant will have to appear in an Assessment Centre for the final selection stage where they meet Teach For India member and another applicant. Teach For India provides placement in eight cities to promote education equality including in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. Candidates are provided the option to fill in their preferences during the selection procedure.
