CBSE Class 10th Result 2024 Declared: After the announcement of the CBSE board class 10th results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the board compartment exams. All details related to this will be updated at cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Class 10th Result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the results for the class 10 board exam 2024. Students can check and download their scorecard from the official websites — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in and umang.gov.in

This year, the board recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.60 per cent which is a minor increase of 0.48 per cent from last year, compared to 2023, 93.12 per cent. Out of which as many as 94.75 per cent are girls and 92.71 per cent are boys.

Institution-wise, JNV and KVs have performed the best with 99.09%, followed by independent schools at 94.54%, CTSA at 94.40%, government schools at 86.72% and government-aided schools at 83.95%.

As per data shared by the board, this year over 39 lakh students had registered for the board exams, which were held in 26 countries abroad apart from India. The number of students placed in compartment (full subjects) has decline from 134774 (6.22%) in 2023 to 132337 (5.91%) this year.

This time, a total of 212384 students (9.49%) have scored 90% and above, which is an increase from last year’s 195799. Another 47983 students (2.14%) have scored 95% and above, which is also an increase from 44,297 candidates in 2023.

In 2023, the overall pass percentage of Class 10 was recorded at 93.12 per cent. Trivandrum had come up as the best performing region at 99.91 per cent, followed by Bengaluru at 99.18 per cent, Chennai at 99.14 per cent, Ajmer at 97.27 per cent and Pune at 96.92 per cent.

The mark sheets and passing certificates will be uploaded on the DigiLocker. Applicants who appeared for the exam can download their results online by simply activating their CBSE Result DigiLocker Accounts. Students have to use their security pins and activate their accounts so that they can download digital copies of their marks sheets and certificates.

After the announcement of the class 10 results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the board compartment exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced after the result declaration.
