High alert at civic facilities

Municipal Commissioner Mahesh Zagade has directed heads of civic departments to beef up security at important civic facilities and also keep a check on citizens visiting offices. All the water pumping stations,sewage treatment plants,gardens,parks,cultural halls,schools,hospitals and historical monuments will have tight security measures. All civic security staff had been directed to report to duty if on leave.

The fire brigade staff has also been put on alert to face any possible situation. The commisssioner has directed the health staff in all civic hospitals to report to duty and be prepared to provide any required medical services.

Mayor Mohansingh Rajpal has appealed to citizens to maintain law and order. “The citizens should respect the court verdict whatever it may be.
