Pune:Principal Pune district and sessions judge Anant Badar has deferred the order on Rajesh Choudhary’s application to make him an accused instead of an approver. Choudhary had filed the plea in August for which arguments are over. The case will be decided on October 16. Choudhary along with Yogesh Raut,Mahesh Thakur and Vishwas Kadam,had gangraped and murdered Pujari.

Compensation for permanent disability

Pune:The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal,Pune,has awarded a compensation of Rs 5.76 lakh to a 58-year-old man who suffered permanent disability after falling off a PMPML bus in 2010. MACT additional member and district judge-5,A P Kurhekar ordered that the compensation be jointly paid by the bus owner M/s Buthello and Sons and United India Insurance Company with 8% interest from the date of filing the petition till the realisation of the amount.
