Amdocs trounce Barclays

The fourth match of the Cybage Inter-IT tournament held at the Poona Club proved to be a one-sided match as Amdocs thumped Barclays Technology by 133 runs. The match,which began on a supposedly dull wicket,saw Barclays win the toss and choose to bowl. It was a decision which came back to haunt the Barclays bowlers as Piyush Shrivastav (112*) and Nikhil Pendharkar (71) send them on a leather hunt all over the park. The duo scored at a blistering pace and Amdocs put up 222 runs in 20 overs. Barclays tried hard to score but kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Sarang Aloni (24) tried to bring some respectability to the scorecard,which eventually folded up at 89 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.
