A Chandigarh-bound Go Air flight returned to Mumbai after a smoke alarm went off mid-air. Flight G 8-141 with 180 passengers took off at 9.06 am and returned at 10.54 am. The aircraft was checked,no smoke was found,and the flight took off five hours later.

Water tanker crashes into Versova shops,one dead

The driver of a water tanker,braking suddenly to avoid hitting an autoriskshaw in Versova,steered into a row of shops instead,killing a man. The driver was injured.
