Gold all the way
The opening of the Marigold Fine Art exhibition, showcasing names like Andy Warhol,Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso, opened on a quiet note at the Viewing Room in Colaba on Tuesday. Many red dots appeared alongside the works as the evening wore on and European expert,Francois Chabanian, president,Gallery Bel-Air Fine Art,Geneva, also the guest of honour, took the guests through the stunning works on display.

Shamita Shetty,Lakshmi Menon,Anju Taraporvala and Haseena Jethmalani took their time to look around the show while holding aloft glasses of red wine. Later traipsed in Sonia Garware,Komal and Rajiv Wazir,Laila Lamba,Laila Khan,Natasha Khan,Nirmal Zaveri,Gauri Pohoomul,Jaideep and Seema Mehrotra and Chhaya Momaya.

Shoe off
The unveiling of the March edition of L’Officiel saw a huge turnout at the Galleria,Trident. Cover girl Priyanka Chopra, photographed in the beautiful Salvatore Ferragamo museum in Florence,Italy, was the bell of the ball.

The chic soiree was hosted by the Italian fashion house at their south Mumbai store, along with L’Officiel editor

Superna Motwane. Queenie Dhody,in a red dress, hung out with Madhoo Shah. Pooja Bedi made a blink-and-miss appearance while Nisha Jamvwal posed for photographs before she sauntered off to the Tod’s and Bottega Veneta stores next door. Priyanka didn’t disappoint either; she only came in two hours late.

Bummer Priyanka wore a Swapnil Shinde gown for a Ferragamo promo but what’s unforgivable are her grey lenses. To make up,she said: “I have a shoe fetish. I’m glad I got an opportunity to have my foot cast at the museum.”
