Artist duo Jiten Thukral and Sumir Tagra has been blurring the line between fine art and popular culture for almost a decade now. Continuing with their style,they have created a three-and-a-half foot high bottle sculpture for a vodka brand. The installation will be on display till December 17 at Famous Studios.

Thukral and Tagra are the latest to be included into the brand’s art venture that has previously roped in artists such as Andy Warhol,Subodh Gupta,Bharti Kher,Vikram Seth and Anish Kapoor. Along with the sculpture,their latest work titled Q will also be on display. The Delhi-based duo has experimented with different forms of media and their work has been characterised by quirky themes and a bold palette that is a commentary on the Indian diaspora and the Indian escapist fantasy. For instance,their latest work titled Windows of Opportunity,which will also be on display,shows individuals framed in airplane windows,dreaming about moving to a foreign land.
