DU admissions: SRCC closed for general category, other colleges still open under special list

On Monday evening, Delhi University released special cut-off lists of colleges for courses where seats are still vacant. Under this, those who have taken admissions against the first three lists cannot seek admission in a preferred college or course.

Candidates whose admissions have been approved by colleges in the second list will have till 5 pm on Friday to pay their fees, only after which their admissions will be finalised. The third list will be released on Saturday, October 16.

Teachers are now worried since the term of the officiating principal, R P Rustagi, ends on June 30 and the admission process is set to begin. On May 12, the university had finalised that Simrat Kaur will be the college’s first woman principal.
