A video screenshot showing Russian helicopters hitting targets in Syria (YouTube)
For a couple of weeks now, Russian jets and helicopters have been pounding parts of war-affected Syria targeting Islamic State and anti-government forces in the country. Russian warplanes have been carrying out sorties in coordination with countries like the US, Turkey, France and Australia who are launching similar attacks against the dreaded terrorist group.
In fact, over the past 24 hours, Russia’s Defence Ministry has said that the airstrikes have killed 300 militants, including two senior ISIS commanders. The ministry added that the increased pace of attacks was aimed at preventing militants from re-grouping and dispersing in populated areas, the ministry said.

Now, in order to see these Russian attacks, there is ample evidence from GoPro videos to some really clear long-shot footage on the internet.
Here are some of those videos that you must take a look at.
This one right below shows a couple of Russian MI-24 helicopters hitting at militant targets in Hama, Syria. The video, purportedly taken by a local, shows the helicopters closing in and then hurling a series of bombs that hit the ground in a cloud of smoke.
This one below now takes you into the waters where Russian warships are pounding ISIS targets from the sea. The video, slickly edited, shows giant missiles being launched from warships near the northern coast of Iran. The Russian foreign ministry has confirmed that four warships, located in the Caspian Sea, launched a total of 26 missiles all of them hitting their intended targets. The missiles, one after another, boom through the night sky flying towards its targets.
The next one shows Russian MI 24 helicopters hitting targets in a part of Syria, not identified in the video. This one, again possibly taken by locals, shows the helicopters hitting targets across a green, open field.
