Drake sued for allegedly sabotaging documentary

In a series of tweets Drake stated he was not part of the film and urged fans not to watch it when it is debuted on theaters.

Rapper Drake has been sued by a film company for allegedly sabotaging the release of its documentary titled “Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage”.

The film “features concert footage from a 2009 show in Toronto… and new interviews with people like Jas Prince … who discovered Drake,” reported TMZ.

In a series of tweets on Monday, March 16, Drake stated he was not part of the film and urged fans not to watch it when it is debuted on theaters Thursday, March 19.

Drake tweeted:

Specticast, which has distributed the film, has filed the legal lawsuit accusing Drake of obstructing the documentary to draw attention to his Twitter page because shortly after launching the attack, he started tweeting about ticket sales for his OVO Fest this summer.
