Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will be soon seen in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ opposite Salman Khan, is going to play the role of a schizophrenia patient in her new film.  According to reports, the ‘No One Killed Jessica’ fame director Raj Kumar Gupta for has signed the Kapoor lady for his upcoming film.

Though he refrained from talking about the film then, now the filmmaker confirms that not only is the actress playing a protagonist in this thriller but she will be seen as a schizophrenia patient in the film. From what we hear, the dark and mysterious tale revolves around Kareena’s character; who is caught up in trouble, when she is released from a mental asylum. Amidst this dangerous mental condition, situations are created where she gets trapped into the web of a criminal activity.

According to Raj Kumar Gupta, this untitled film explores the Section 84 of the Indian Penal Code and is also based on a real life incident. Section 84 signifies the ‘Act of a person of unsound mind’ which specially means, ‘Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, by reason of unsoundness of mind, is incapable of knowing the nature of the act, or that he is doing what is either wrong or contrary to law.’

However, Raj Kumar did not elaborate further about the film’s plot and hasn’t revealed the names of the actors who have been roped in to play other characters. The film in question will go on floor in April.
