Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3 Voting Date and Time: 94 constituencies spread across 12 states, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Goa, are preparing for the upcoming third phase of voting to elect the new government.

The first two phases of the Lok Sabha 2024 elections have concluded, with a voter turnout of 62% in the initial phase and approximately 66.7% in the second phase, as reported by the ECI.

With the 18th Lok Sabha elections set to unfold in seven phases, here’s all you need to know about Phase 3 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Lok Sabha 2024 Elections Phase 3: Date and Timings

The polling for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is scheduled to take place on Tuesday – May 7, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the results of the election being announced on June 4, which is twelve days before the recent House’s term expires.

Currently, the Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel and the former four-time MP of Guna, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who was earlier considered a close associate of Congress for two decades, is now seeking to reclaim this seat under the BJP ticket against Rao Yadavendra Singh Yadav, who joined Congress after leaving the BJP in 2023, in the forthcoming Lok Sabha 2024 elections.

Alok Sharma, BJP: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

A former mayor, associated with the BJP, Alok Sharma, will be contesting from the Bhopal constituency, replacing the sitting MP Pragya Thakur, against District President of Congress, Arun Srivastava, in Phase 3, of the upcoming Lok Sabha 2024 polls. 

Praveen Singh Aron, SP: Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh

Former Congress member and winning candidate from the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Praveen Singh Aron is contesting from Bareilly as a Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate and will be in the fray with the former MLA from Baheri, Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar, representing the BJP, in upcoming Lok Sabha polls of 2024.

Former member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Vile-Parle and a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council from Shiv Sena, Vinayak Raut, the two-time sitting MP of Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency in Maharashtra, will be contesting against Narayan Rane, the BJP’s Union Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, to retain his seat and seek a hat-trick in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

Hasmukh Patel, the current Member of Parliament (MP) from the Ahmedabad East Lok Sabha constituency in Gujarat, defeated the Congress candidate Gitaben Patel by a margin of over 4.3 lakh votes in the last 2019 Lok Sabha elections. A former municipal corporator for three consecutive terms and an MLA for the Amraiwadi constituency in Gujarat for two consecutive terms, Patel is now gearing up to contest against Himmatsinh Patel to retain the Ahmedabad East seat in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Congress: Baharampur, West Bengal

Baharampur is a stronghold seat of Congress’s Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. In addition to winning the Lok Sabha elections from Baharampur, Chowdhury has also won the 2016 Assembly elections in all seven Assembly segments under the Berhampore Lok Sabha seat.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, Baharampur will witness an interesting fray between the BJP’s Nirmal Kumar Saha and the TMC’s Yusuf Pathan, with Adhir Ranjan re-contesting from Congress to continue his power play.
