Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, will speak at the annual Moms for Liberty meeting in Washington, DC on Friday.

The national nonprofit has campaigned to remove LGBTQ+ identity and structural racism from K-12 education.

Trump’s participation in a “fireside chat” aims to energise his base of over 130,000 conservative parents who support his education policies.

Vice President Kamala Harris, on the other hand, has launched a “Reproductive Freedom Bus Tour,” visiting over 50 locations to mobilise voters before the election. The first event will take place near Trump’s residence in Palm Beach, Florida.

Additionally, efforts to reconcile Trump with Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp will be initiated at a fundraiser in Atlanta and facilitated by Senator Lindsey Graham. This rapprochement is seen as a strategic move to unify the Republicans in a critical battleground state.
