Watch: Stage mishap during Bihu performance at IIT Guwahati; dancers continue performance

A video clip from the ongoing Alcheringa Fest 2024 at IIT Guwahati has surfaced online showing a portion of the bamboo stage backdrop collapsing during a Bihu dance performance. Thankfully, the dancers remained unharmed.

The video captures the incident unfolding as part of the bamboo backdrop slowly gives way, prompting immediate action. Students and staff members are seen rushing to secure the compromised section, ensuring the safety of the performers.

Despite the incident, the dancers’ composure is being widely applauded online with their performance garnering praise from viewers.
