At least three coaches of the Patna-Jharkhand passenger train caught fire as it approached Bihar’s Kiul junction railway station on Thursday, June 6.
The other bogies of the train were separated from the burning coaches, and pushed to safety by passengers, railway officials and locals. A video that captured the incident has gone viral on social media platforms.
The viral footage was shared by several handles on both X and Instagram. Social media has been abuzz with admiration for the collective efforts, with captions such as “Bihar is not for beginners” circulating alongside the footage.

The cause of the fire, which severely affected the ladies’ coach, raised suspicions after a liquor bottle was discovered amid the debris, stated several reports.
Reacting to the video, one user wrote, “No one can imagine pushing a railway.” Another user said, “can u see the power of unity.” A third user said, “True example of Team Work.”
