The blend of cultures in interracial relationships is priceless. When people speak in non-native languages, it is adorable to watch and often wins hearts online. Sungkun Siddiqi, a social media influencer who is ‘half-Pakistani and half-Korean’ asked his Korean mother if she knew Punjabi. The woman not only impressed her son by speaking in Punjabi, but also spoke about her favourite Punjabi song. The mother-son duo has won hearts online with their exchange.

In the clip shared on Instagram, Siddiqi asks his mother if she knows Punjabi (Maa thonu Punjabi aundi aa?) and she replies saying yes (hann aundi aa). Challenging her to speak, he says, “Speak something so that we know” (kuch bol ke dikhao) and confidently she ignores his sarcasm, saying you don’t know (Nahi aundi thonu)

He further asks which is her favourite Punjabi movie and asks if it is Carry on Jatta. The woman disagrees and says it is Pardesi Pardesi, a song from Hindi movie Raja Hindustani.
