A unique Diwali rangoli with a QR code, shared by Google India, inviting people to “extend their Diwali ‘shagun’ money” by making payments via Google Pay, has gone viral. Google India shared a video of this unconventional rangoli placed right outside the office door.

In the clip, the rangoli is designed in Google logo colours. In the video, a guest, in ethnic wear, pauses to admire the design, and follows the prompt by making a payment of Rs 500 via GPay.

The video has garnered over 23,000 likes and nearly one million views. The concept has impressed Instagram users and some asked the tech giant how they can make their own creative, cash-collecting Diwali rangoli.

“Yeh batao, yeh rangoli ghar pe kaise banaun?” a user commented on the post. Google India responded saying, “Yeh bhi Google karlo.” Another user reacted, “R in QR stands for rangoli.” Google India responded with, “The Q stands for a quick scan.”

A user named Shagun commented, “I am shagun but why are u not answering my question in DM.” Another user wrote, “If I make this no one will enter in my house.“ Another individual commented,
“Paise mangne ka Tarika thoda casual hai.”
