In the blistering heat of Rajasthan’s desert, a BSF soldier stationed at the border near Bikaner has captured social media’s attention with a surprising demonstration—boiling an egg using only the sun-heated sand.
Rajasthan is enduring an intense heat wave, with temperature soaring above 46 degree Celsius and expected to climb higher. The extreme conditions are keeping residents indoors, but BSF soldiers continue their duties in the harsh environment.
A video of a soldier making the best of the situation has gone viral. The two-minute-59-second clip shared by the Press Trust of India (PTI) shows the soldier burying an egg in the hot sand.

This also highlights the severity of the summer temperatures in the region. Bikaner, currently at 44 degree Celsius, may see temperatures rise above 48 degree Celsius in the coming days. Another viral video from the same area had shown a BSF soldier roasting a papad in the sand, demonstrating the extreme heat.
