The man who had once given up on his life and lost all hope, now has a message for those who are struggling: “…life is not going to end… Things will figure themselves out.”

Bengaluru auto driver gives life and money lessonTalking about money, he says it’s necessary but not the only important thing in life

Adulting often means realising how tough life can get, pushing people into moments that either break them or build them. Daily struggles can weigh heavily, but what truly stands out is how one chooses to rise from them. A Bengaluru man is going viral for that very reason. After giving up on his corporate career and losing hope, he found meaning in life again – this time as an autorickshaw driver – and now has a powerful message about “life and money.”

In the now-viral video, the autorickshaw driver says, “I am not scared of starting all over again.” He continues, “This is for the people who think life is about to end… those who are going through the hardest phase of their life. I had given up. I thought I would never recover. But here I am, driving an auto. And life is not going to end. I’m going to face whatever the consequence…my way. I’m not scared of it.”

He adds a simple yet thoughtful reminder: “If you live like this, things will figure themselves out.” Talking about money, he says, “Money is a necessity, but money is not the only necessity. There are other things in life that matter more.”

The video carries a text overlay that reads, “Auto driver not a corporate slave anymore.”

The clip has already gathered over 1 lakh views, prompting a wave of reactions online. One user wrote, “It’s actually liberating once you realise there are people around you doing just fine without fancy job titles.”

Another commented, “Money is always less… be it any amount. You eventually have to curb your instinct to spend on unnecessary things. Live in the moment. Making money shouldn’t be the sole purpose of your life.”

A third user pointed out, “In foreign countries, when people lose a job, they take up any small work that helps them earn and support their families. Here in India, many jobs are considered ‘low status’ – it’s all about mentality.”

Yet another person added, “The way Indian corporate and tech jobs treat employees is just atrocious. I wouldn’t be surprised if these places are filled with psychologically disordered people.”
