Mahayuti VS MVA: The Maharashtra local body elections have shaped up as a contest between the ruling Mahayuti and the Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). The Mahayuti, which governs the state, includes the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, and the Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party.
