Aarohi was finally brought back to Mumbai on Children’s Day, November 14Industrialist Anand Mahindra took to X to applaud the Mumbai police for their persistence and heart in locating a young girl who had been missing for months. He reshared an emotional post about four-year-old Aarohi, who disappeared in May and was finally reunited with her parents after half a year.
The original account, posted by Mohini Maheshwari, highlighted how the police never once considered closing the case. Some officers reportedly even carried Aarohi’s photograph in their shirt pockets, treating her search as personally as if she were their own child. They plastered posters across multiple cities and chased down every possible clue.
Aarohi was finally brought back to Mumbai on Children’s Day, November 14. The Crime Branch welcomed her at the airport with balloons and a brand-new blue dress. When she spotted the officers waiting for her, she “ran – not away, but toward them,” wrapping her arms around one of them, the post read.
Mahindra praised the force with the words: “Mumbai Police, You just gave us the gift of hope and happiness. For this alone, you rank as one of the finest forces in the world.”
