Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan was spotted playing gully cricket with Indian fans. Cricket is inarguably the most followed sport in India. No matter which city, town or village you visit, you would come across kids and youngsters playing the game with their own set of improvised rules, referred to colloquially as gully cricket.
Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan, who is playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023, was spotted playing gully cricket with Indian fans. The 24-year-old, who is known for his variations with leg spin, was seen batting and facing a few deliveries.
The Afghan cricketer was dressed casually in a T-shirt, shorts and slippers while playing with the group. Twitter user Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) posted the video Thursday and it has received more than 68,000 views so far.

In March, Australian cricketer David Warner was also seen playing gully cricket with children and youngsters on a Mumbai street.
In November last year, South African legend AB de Villiers also played street cricket in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai with fans. Dressed in a T-shirt, shorts and sneakers, de Villiers was seen batting and playing a few strokes.
