‘In my Swiftie era…’: Roger Federer posts selfie with Taylor Swift

ntering his Swiftie era in style, Roger Federer posted a selfie with Taylor Swift, catching her at the Eras Tour in Zürich, Switzerland on July 8.

“In my Swiftie era 🦋🫶💜🧣🌃🐍💘🪩🌲🕰️🤍,” wrote Federer on Instagram alongside a flurry of emojis representing Taylor Swift and her entire musical discography and her tour.

The backstage selfie was clicked right after the show. In the selfie, Federer is sporting a VIP lanyard from the tour around his neck, while Swift remained adorned in her sparkling blue bodysuit from the Midnights era of the concert.

The selfie has garnered over a hundred thousand views and numerous comments, as tennis fans, Swifties, and everyone else came together to share their joy and excitement.

A fan commented, “THE EMOJI SELECTION TOO!!” And a second user wrote, “Tell me you have teenage daughters without telling me you have teenage daughters.” A third user said, “the tennis industry and the music industry.”

Federer attended Monday’s show with his wife, Mirka, and their four children— twin girls Myla and Charlene, 15, and twin boys Leo and Lenny, 10.
