Australian solo traveller Duncan McNaught, who often documents his journeys with a focus on kindness, respect and meaningful human connections, has revealed what he would miss the most about India – its food. Known for highlighting the warmth and hospitality he encounters on the road, McNaught shared this in a recent video from his final stop in the country.

In the clip, titled “I will miss India for this one reason”, the vlogger is seen enjoying his last meal at an international airport lounge in India. Reflecting on the experience, he says, “Even in the airport, when you think airport food, you think it’s just airport food. But in India, no, look at this non-vegetarian thali. Absolutely amazing.”

His plate appears filled with parathas, two varieties of sabzi, raita, a fresh green salad, and some leftover rice, a spread that clearly impressed him. Praising the quality of the meal, he adds, “I’m gonna miss the food here, no doubt about it. If you can get airport food and it tastes this good… So until next time, goodbye. I will miss your food.”

Sharing the video, McNaught summed up his feelings in the caption: “India’s food is just too good, I’ll miss it.”
