Kerala-based hip-hop artist Hanumankind, whose viral song ‘Big Dawgs’ entered the top 10 charts on Billboard Global 2002 last month, thrilled the audiences with his performance. He and many Indian rappers and hip hop guys and girls are too good.” Another user wrote, “Everyone jumping on their seats.” Aditya Gadhvi, on the other hand, wooed the audience with his superhit track 'Khalasi'. While greeting the rapper, the Prime Minister said, ‘Jai Hanuman’ before he hugged him and shook his hand, praising him for his performance. According to ANI, artists from different groups have been preparing for days to perform their traditional music for PM Modi. The artists performed 'Yakshagana', a form of traditional folk dance popular in the coastal districts of Karnataka and parts of Kerala, at the venue. Members of the Indian diaspora from Tamil Nadu played the traditional musical instrument 'Parai' at the event ahead of PM Modi's address. A group of artistes performed Mallakhamb, an acrobatic activity from Maharashtra.
