To see someone be completely immersed in their craft can be an inspiring and enjoyable sight. A video capturing a similar sentiment, as it shows a drummer being fully immersed in his gig, is going viral.
In the undated video, a band is playing the famous rock song Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. While the band performs the 1967 banger, the camera zooms in on the drummer who appears to be fully involved in his performance as he exaggeratedly plays with his drumsticks and makes over-the-top facial expressions.
This undated video was posted on Twitter by popular account Woman of Wonder (@WonderW97800751) on Monday.

In the comments, people recognised the drummer as Steve Moore, aka “The Mad Drummer,” who plays with his band Rick K and The Allnighters.
Commenting on this video, a Twitter user wrote, “I have actually seen this band live and met them. All very nice guys and great musicians as well. Lots of fun to watch tho!!”. Another person said, “Obviously that was part of the act, and so very cleverly cool. I loved it because he kept the music beat even when it looked like he was playing a totally different song.”
Almost 12 years ago, another video of Steve and his band playing at a small gig in an amusement park in Pennsylvania had gone viral after it was posted by a fan on YouTube. Today that video, titled ‘This Drummer is at The Wrong Gig’, has gathered over 51 million views.
