Louis Vuitton is making waves with its iconic store in Manhattan. It is a giant 19-storey leather trunk. According to Elle Decor, the store moved across the 57th street on November 15 and is stirring up social media.

Sharing a glimpse of the dazzling store, industrialist Harsh Goenka wrote on X, “Louis Vuitton turns its flagship New York store into a spectacle! While under construction, the scaffolding now features a jaw-dropping 15-story stack of giant trunks, blending fashion with architecture. What an idea!”

The post quickly gained traction, igniting a conversation over marketing strategies. An X user wrote, “I think Louis Vuitton uses their own marketing strategy.” Another user commented, “Indeed creative fusion of fashion and architecture.”

“Similar one being built in Paris LV hotel attached,” a third user commented. “Wow, only Louis Vuitton could make construction look like an art installation! It’s like they’ve turned scaffolding into the new catwalk,” another user wrote.

According to a report in Elle Decor, the giant store features an ostrich and a giraffe against a backdrop of carnival lights. Inspired by the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition, which saw Georges Vuitton displaying trunks and travel items, the store has a cascade of Vuitton Monogram flowers. The lobby consists of 108 trunks in iconic Vuitton patterns like white Damier, a metallic Monogram, classic Monogram canvas, historic stripes, and white Damier.
