It’s been over a decade since Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara turned Spain’s La Tomatina festival into every Indian’s bucket-list dream. What was once Hrithik, Farhan, and Abhay’s messy fiesta moment has now become a desi reality. A viral video shows Indians in Spain recreating the magic, but this time, not just with tomatoes.

In the video, a group of Indians can be seen enjoying the Tomatina singing Jumma Chumma as they revel in the festivities. Drenched in mashed tomatoes, they belt out the iconic Bollywood track from Amitabh Bachchan’s 1991 film Hum in perfect unison.

Captured by someone from within the group, the lively clip has been making the rounds on social media.

The video has received mixed reactions from netizens, both Indians and foreigners. The comments section was filled with people calling out the civic sense of Indians present there. A user wrote, “Do you ever see foreigners in India during Diwali or Durga Puja and any regional festivals blasting or singing or imposing English or other languages songs? No. They just join in and enjoy respectfully and blend in to our culture. But us? We love throwing language divides in each other’s face – Hindi vs non-Hindi, English vs regional, accent shaming. And civic sense? Forget it. Queues, traffic, noise, litter… we act like rules don’t apply to us. Everywhere I’ve travelled, locals say the same: “Indians are sweet but horrible at respecting civics and other cultures.” And honestly… they’re majorly right. We think the world should adjust to us, not the other way around. Time we own up to it and stop having double standards.”

Another user commented, “This is one of the reason why all countries are gearing up against immigration … we just don’t know how to blend, respect, witness and enjoy the culture and traditions of other countries.”

A third person said, “I was there and witnessed this and have never felt more embarrassed.”

However, some users supported those in the video. One user wrote, “I can’t believe that in the comment section people are barking civics sense ….. They are enjoying at the highest… Songs are part of enjoyment…. That absolutely cool.”
