This Brazilian-born canyoning expert has set a new ‘world record’ by jumping off nearly a 60 metre-high cliff.
Laso Schaller took the free-fall, as a part of a Red Bull adventure series, smashing into the rough waters from a 58.8 metre-high Cascata del Salto waterfall in Maggia, Switzerland. The fall was said to be timed around ‘3.58 seconds’ with a touchdown speed close to 120 km/hr.
Even though the video was shot in several angles, the POV angle is the scariest of all. The video released on YouTube by Red Bull has registered more than 2 lakh views-till Friday morning.
Well the man certainly took a ‘giant leap’ clearing a height reportedly taller than the leaning Tower of Pisa and maybe the India Gate too?
