Zaheer Khan continued to sizzle while Dinesh Mongia had a forgettable outing in the opening County championship Division 2 matches for their respective clubs.

Zaheer scalped four for 100 that helped Worcestershire restrict Somerset to 401 in the first innings on the first day at Worcester on Wednesday.

At Grace Road, Mongia8217;s contribution remained a nine-ball four as Leicestershire struggled in reply to Surrey8217;s competitive 370 in the first innings. Leicestershire were 150 for six approaching tea on the second day.
