NEW DELHI, August 3: Victory and Moghuls played a 1-1 draw in the DSA-SAIL senior division football league at Ambedkar Stadium here today. In another match, Youngmen and Collegians were locked in a goalless draw.

Upender scored in the 13th minute for Victory while Moghals scored the equaliser in the 45th minute through Inderjit Dhar. Moghuls’ defender Manjeev gave a back pass to his goalkeeper. Upender got the ball in his possession and found the net.

With this draw Victory have six points from nine matches whereas Moghals have eight from eight matches.

In the second match played betwen Youngmen and collegians, the teams shared two points after their goalless draw. It was a well-contessed match. Both the teams tried their best to score but in vain.

Youngman have earned 16 points in eight matches while Collegians have 13 points from six matches.

At the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Goans Sports defeated Delhi Police 3-1. Mohd Imtiaz gave the lead for the winners in the 11th minute. Ram Singh increased the lead in the 43rd minute and L.I. Pun in the 48th minute.The lone goal for Delhi Police came through Harish.

In the second match, Delhi Cantonment defeated Hans 2-0. Anil Chetri (19th) and Devender Verma (29th) were the goal-getters.
