
NSS units and Red Cross unit of SDP College for Women observed World AIDS Day here to create awareness about the deadly disease AIDS among students.
On this occasion, a quiz-contest was organised under the supervision of NSS programme officers, B.Ahuja, Ranjana Sood, Ramneek and S.Bhalla, incharge of Red Cross unit. The renowned doctors from National Integrated Medical Association, Dr.Surendra Gupta, Dr.Inder Sharma also made the students aware of AIDS through their discourses. Dr.Prashant Sharma from DMC made computer aided presentation to provide information about the deadly disease. A poster making competition was also organized by Neelu, lecturer in fine Arts.
