Clash Of The Titans ruled the foreign box-office for a third weekend,buoyed by opulent openings in Latin America and Italy. The mythological epic grossed 53.6 million from 57 markets,taking the overseas haul of the 3D Warner Bros. release to 188.7 million.
Titans premiered in nine territories,led by Mexico with a top-ranked 7.1 million. An Italy bow drew a No. 1 ranking and 4.3 million. Strong holdovers included Russia No. 1 with 5.2 million,20 million total,France No. 1 with 3.6 million,12.7 million total and Germany No. 1 with 2.7 million,10.2 million total. A Japan opening is due Friday.

Alice In Wonderland,at No. 2,took in 34 million from 53 territories. Director Tim Burtons 3D reworking of the Lewis Carroll classic enjoyed strong openings in Japan 14 million and Spain 10.1 million. The foreign gross stands at 503.5 million. A Brazil opening is scheduled for Friday.
The weekends No. 3 title was renascent North American champ How To Train Your Dragon,which boosted its overseas gross total to 176.5 million after four rounds thanks to a 15.5 million weekend in 58 markets.

Opening in six European countries and finishing No. 4 was Date Night,which grossed 8.1 million from 41 markets in its second weekend,pushing its overseas take to 17.8 million. Best new market for the marital action comedy was Russia,where it generated 1.4 million.
Fifth on the weekend was The Bounty Hunter,which grossed 7 million from 51 markets,pushing its overseas gross total to 51.5 million.
