Sameera Reddy,who worked round the clock for Suniel Shettys Red Alert,wherein she played a Naxalite,has finally taken a breather. The movie,which was screened at various film festivals,fetched her compliments galore.

In order to celebrate,the actress has taken off to New York to spend some quality time with her family and close friends. Sameera,who hadnt taken a vacation since a very long time,is now busy enjoying herself in the United States.

The actor is also eagerly awaiting the release of Nagesh Kukunoors Yeh Hausla for which she had shot three years ago. She is hoping that the producers release the film soon. The movie is really close to me and I wish it releases very soon. I am interested in buying the film and I may do it if the producers dont release it soon. She will next be seen in Priyadarshans action film. Sameera is taking lessons in bike-riding for this movie.

Vivek Oberoi
Vivek Oberoi has been in the news lately for all the right reasons. The actor,who has been in and out of relationships,is finally settling down. He has decided to tie the knot with Priyanka Alva,daughter of renowned dancer Nandini and late politician Jeevaraj Alva.

The wedding will take place on October 29 in Bengaluru. The actor has also been busy with his philanthropic organisation called Project Devi. Vivek was at Vrindavan last week with Sushmita Sen. DEVI Development and Empowerment of Vrindavan girls Initiative,which has been sponsored by The Yashodhara Oberoi Foundation and founded by Vivek Oberoi,focusses on enriching the lives of the underprivileged girls of Vrindavan and providing them with the skills and the education to become productive,self-sufficient adults.

Besides this organisation,Vivek is also looking forward to the release of Ram Gopal Varmas Rakta Charitra.

Soha Ali Khan
The latest development in Deepa Mehtas adaptation of Salman Rushdies Midnights Children is the inclusion of Soha Ali Khan. Reportedly the actress has been signed on by the filmmaker for the adaptation of the novel.

Besides Soha,the film already stars Shabana Azmi,Nandita Das,Seema Biswas and Irrfan and is slated to go on floor later this year. The film is scheduled to release in mid 2011.

The actress also has Pritish Nandys Accident with Shiney Ahuja,which is currently in the post-production stage. She will also be seen in a romantic comedy titled Chemistry with Shreyas Talpade and another one that has been tentatively titled Phone Thief,being produced by Fox Star. Soha plays a writer in the film that revolves around what happens with her in a single day.
