Size matters

Mamata Banerjee may have started work for the Assembly elections in West Bengal after tasting unprecedented success in the Lok Sabha polls,but her MPs are still not over the victory mood. The other day,a first-time MP of the party was heard telling Mamatas private secretary that he should ensure that the new office of the Trinamool Congress in New Delhi is bigger than that of the CPIM. We have more MPs than the CPIM and so our party office should also be bigger, the MP argued. The amused PS after a brief pause replied that once they succeed in ousting the Left from West Bengal,all their desires would be fulfilled.
