SC asks for report on conjoined twins

In July,the bench had directed the Centre to form a medical board to provide treatment to the twins,which it did.

The bench had also directed the Centre to air-lift the twins to New Delhi for treatment at AIIMS.

However,the bench later directed that the twins be examined in Patna after the girls mother feared that their condition may deteriorate if they were air-lifted.

The bench,on Monday, told the additional solicitor general that there was a specific order that the expert medical team should visit Patna to examine the condition of the twins and the Centre must submit the report.
