Sarath Kumar,the Tamil superstar,is now a common fixture in Malayalam cinema. After he made his debut in Malayalam films with Pazhassi Raja,for which he also won rave reviews,and followed it up with Oridathoru Postman,The Metro and Christian Brothers,Kumar will now be seen in Chandrashekharans Achchante Aanmakkal. Produced under the banner of Rajaprabha Creations,the movies shooting has already commenced at Palakkad.

The film is the story about a family of cops comprising retired Director-General of Police Madhava Menon (Nedumudi Venu) and his two police officer sons-in-law Narasimhan (Sarath Kumar) and Nandagopal (Jagadeesh). Meghna Raj and Lakshmi Sharma play Madhava Menons daughters. Suraaj Venjaramoodu,Vijayaraghavan,Anil Murali,Nizhalgal Ravi,Devan,Master Siddharth and Ambika comprise the rest of the cast. While N.M.Nawaz has penned the script,Satheesh Mannoor has written the story. Jassie Gift has composed the music.

Mugguru shoot in final stage

Mugguru,directed by V.N.Aditya,is in its final stage of shooting. Produced by Dr. D Ramanaidu under the banner of Suresh Productions,the film stars Navdeep,Rahul and Avasarala Srinivas,Shraddha Das,Sanjana and Soumya in lead roles. Brahmanandam,Ali,Chalapati Rao and Ahuti Prasad comprise the rest of the cast.

The unit has returned from Malaysia after a schedule there and now the films shoot is progressing at Visakhapatnam. Dialogues are penned by Satyanand,music is composed by Koti while Jawahar Reddy is in charge of cinematography.

Karthi gets hitched

Popular Tamil actor Karthi got married to Ranjini on July 3. The wedding was solemnised at a grand function held at Codissia Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore. Ranjini,who is not from the film industry,is a post-graduate in English Literature.

Apart from Karthis father actor Sivakumar,brother Suriya and sister-in-law Jyothika,several stars including Prabhu,KS Ravikumar,Radhika Sarath Kumar,Pandiarajan,Nizhalgal Ravi,Ravi K Chandran ,Rajesh,Poornima Bhagyaraj,Nanda,Karthik,Bala,RV Udhayakumar,Lingusamy,actor Kartik Kumar and his wife Suchitra,director Hari and lyricist Arivumathi graced the occasion. The wedding was held in traditional style and the venue was decorated like a palace replete with flowers.
