As the camera pans to the passing autorickshaw, the calf looks perfectly settled
An unexpected slice of everyday India has gone viral after a foreign traveller captured a moment that feels straight out of a quirky movie. Pablo Garcia, who shared the clip on Instagram, filmed the scene from the back of an autorickshaw.
As his vehicle rolled through traffic, another autorickshaw is seen moving alongside, with a calf calmly standing inside, as if it were just another commuter. Though the clip does not mention the location, HT.com reports it was shot in Bengaluru.
The short video, equal parts hilarious and astonishing, instantly grabbed people’s attention online. As the camera pans to the passing autorickshaw, the calf looks perfectly settled, while a text overlay declares, “India has the best surprises.”
Since being posted, the video has racked up over 58,000 views, prompting a flood of amused reactions. Many viewers found the moment charmingly chaotic, the kind of scene that feels quintessentially Indian.

One tourist commented, “India is very funny country,” while another joked, “Well, can’t comment on this but welcome to India my brother.” Someone else pointed out the double standard in the responses, noting, “The foreigners find it funny but when they travel with their dogs it is completely normal.”
When a user asked Garcia, “Where are you right now in India?” he clarified that he’d already left the country, adding, “Im not in India anymore, that video was last year when I went for a modeling contract there.”
Another viewer summed up the absurdity with a playful line: “The cow ask them to drop to a new place.”
