Ranbir rocks

The interview with Ranbir Kapoor November 25 made for an interesting read. Imtiaz Alis film,Rockstar,had an urban connect and theres no denying that it is Ranbirs best performance till date. I have watched many films about the lives of musicians and rock-stars,but this film was different from the rest and Ranbir was the perfect choice hellip;

The interview with Ranbir Kapoor November 25 made for an interesting read. Imtiaz Alis film,Rockstar,had an urban connect and theres no denying that it is Ranbirs best performance till date. I have watched many films about the lives of musicians and rock-stars,but this film was different from the rest and Ranbir was the perfect choice for the role. In a previous interview of his,Ranbir had stated that he learnt to play the guitar to get into his character for the film and I think that his efforts have translated into a rock-solid performance on screen. I also liked Milan Luthrias interview,The Real Picture. It was well-written and very informative.

Interesting read

In the issue dated November 25-December 1,I was most curious to read Sikandars interview as the intro said he would be talking about Beti B. However,when I read the interview I was disappointed because he only talked about meeting her,nothing about how she looks. Another report that interested me was Amol Palekars viewpoint in which he said that he was not in favour of remakes. I agree with him and dread to think how the remakes of the cute film Chasme Buddoor and the laugh-riot Golmaal will turn out. The feature Still Playing The Eighties also made a good read. It took me back to that era when I would see films with my friends and enjoy them,irrespective of their content. Truly,there is nothing to beat the eighties,good or bad
