Rajasthan blues

Karisma Kapur got nostalgic during the shooting of Dangerous Ishhq in Rajasthan.

Karisma Kapur, who shot Dangerous Ishhq in Rajasthan was overwhelmed by the adulation and love she received from the public there. Her fans used to throng the sets and wait patiently for her to wrap up the shooting before they bombarded her with requests for autographs.

Then one day a fan reminded her about shooting her films like Shakti,Zubeida and Hum Saath Saath Hain in the deserts of Rajasthan. I had completely forgotten about those shoots and the mention brought back some very pleasant memories. I am a firm believer of karma and it gave me a jolt that my comeback film,Dangerous Ishhq, was filmed in Rajasthan.

About the shooting she added,We shot most of the film in the deserts of Rajasthan. It is a beautiful place and had a very calming effect on me,especially after I took a trip down memory lane.

The actress who is the protagonist in the film, which spans across different eras, says that the supernatural thriller is not the regular kind of film and will showcase the Karisma Kapur of 2012.

A lot of research and hard work was put in by the team as we had to stay true to the different eras,be it the Mughal look or the Rajasthani one. And I think we have got every era right.
