Rahman Khans successor

As the Congress looks to induct Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan into the Union Council of Ministers to increase representation of the minority community in it,search is on for his successor. The two names the party has identified so far are P J Kurien and Jayanthi Natarajan. Their lack of fluency in Hindi could become an issue though,say party MPs. Some party leaders have,in the meantime,floated Mohsina Kidwais name. However,she is said to be aspiring for a Cabinet berth. With less than a year left in her current term in the Rajya Sabha,Kidwai may be out of reckoning for either post though.
