Mumbai: 2 posing as journalists held

Two persons of a group of four who posed as TV journalists were arrested by the Oshiwara police after they allegedly tried extorting money from a restaurant

Two persons of a group of four who posed as TV journalists were arrested by the Oshiwara police on Sunday after they allegedly tried extorting money from a restaurant in Andheri West. Prakash Revade 36 and Baltazar Swami 49 were arrested. Their accomplices Sunil Pawar and Shalini Pawar are missing, said an officer,adding that the duo went to a restaurant and flashed fake press identity cards. They claimed they had proof the restaurant had hired children to work. They demanded Rs 5 lakh to hand over the video, said the officer. The duo were produced in court and have been remanded in police custody till October 28.
