US,Japan spoke of action against anti-whalers
TOKYO: Japanese and US officials discussed action to weaken an anti-whaling group,with Tokyo insisting that Sea Shepherds work on high seas hurt efforts to reduce amount of whaling done,cables show. The US discussed revoking the groups tax exempt status in 2009.
Germany,US planning satellites spying project
OSLO: Cables published by Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten said Germany and the US are engaged in a 270 million satellite spying programme. Aftenposten said the project was not a commercial venture. It was going to be run by German intelligence service.
