Sandra Bullocks win came a day after she won worst-actress for All About Steve at the Razzies,a spoof of the Oscars that mocks Hollywoods low-points of the year. The Razzie win makes Bullock the only actress to receive that dubious prize and an Oscar on the same weekend. Theyll sit side by side on a nice little shelf somewhere, Bullock said.

Best supporting actress MoNique thanked the academys members for showing it can be about the performance,not the politics. MoNiques role as an abusive mother was a departure for the 42-year-old. She said she got into character after recalling the sexual abuse she suffered as a youngster.
