ICICI Lombard cancels pact with 24 hospitals

The ICICI Lombard has cancelled its agreement with 24 hospitals across the state,which were empanelled under the RSBY scheme after complaints of anomalies against them were found correct by the company. Out of the 24,six hospitals are from Sant Ravidas Nagar,five from Kanpur Nagar,two each from Fatehpur,Saharanpur,Kanpur and Unnao and one each from Allahabad,Bijnor,Devariya,Mau and Varanasi. Earlier,the company had received complaints against 31 hospitals. However,the complaints against these could not be proved. The ICICI Lombard has also ceased the transaction ID for 40 other hospitals of the state against which complaints were received. The company will meet representatives of these hospitals soon,said a company press release.
