Foreign exchange

It was an evening worth remembering as many took home trophies for their contributions in different fields.

Shatrughan Sinha along with many Bollywood actors joined Anu and Shashi Ranjan of ITA at the GR8! Women Awards Middle East, held at The Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on April 15. The actor -politician played the role of a responsible civilian as he spoke about breast cancer and spread awareness on its symptoms, causes and treatment and thus supported the Beti movement that the awards have been supporting since years. Anu has been working towards this cause for quite some time now and has great plans to promote the girl-child,a cause that is very close to her heart.

It was nostalgia time as Raveena Tandon put on her dancing shoes at the event. She brought the audience to life as she dazzled with all her famous latkas and jhatkas on various songs like Shehar ki ladki,Yeh raat,Darling,Uff teri adaa and Desi girl. She was applauded for her performances. We must say that the actress needs to get up from the judging seat (that she is doing for a comedy show on TV) and sign a movie where she can show off her thumkas all over again!

Vivek Oberoi,it seems,is still in the mood of celebrating his last film Prince. Vivek made a dramatic entry on the stage,on a mobike while the music from that film played in the background. His charming looks and suave dance moves made the Middle-East audiences go wild as he danced to numbers like O mere khuda and Tere liye.

The actor also showcased his chivalry as he made his exit by handing the bouquet of flowers to the winners sitting in the audience.

It was an evening worth remembering as many took home trophies for their contributions in different fields.
