The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has issued notices to the state government,former health minister Shyam Lal Sharma and officials of the Health and Medical Education Departments in connection with the fake drug scam. The notices were issued on a PIL filed by president of the Doctors Association of Kashmir,seeking an independent probe into the scam. The PIL also sought action against those involved in the purchase of drugs for state-run hospitals.
