Epic MP3 on Ramayanam

Gipsy Music has launched a set of six audio CDs in MP3 format in English and Sanskrit called Shreemad Ramayanam by Sri Dushyanth Sridhar.

Gipsy Music has launched a set of six audio CDs in MP3 format in English and Sanskrit called Shreemad Ramayanam by Sri Dushyanth Sridhar. The music was launched in Mumbai by actor-MP Nitish Bharadwaj and Mr Saranathan,VP,Reliance Industries.

The album that contains over 36 hours of Ramayanam in English is produced by Amit Chheda. The six volumes are Bala Kandam,Ayodhya Kandam,Aranya Kandam,Kishkinda Kandam,Sundara Kandam and Yudh Kandam.

SoundBound,a music conference,will be held in Mumbai from November 19 to 21. Aimed at the grassroots of the music industry in India,the event will deal with Indian issues,like panel discussions by cutting-edge music industry experts who will provide insights and practical solutions to issues faced in Indias growing music scene.

While the panel discussions will examine key industry issues,SoundBound also features a host of workshops that will deal with specific scene sectors with the intention of sharing expertise in areas like music writing,sound and lights,tour management et al.

The three-day event will also include live performances,keynote talks and networking opportunities with some of the most relevant people in musicbiz today.
